How Subpixel Rendering Makes Text Look Sharper

What Are Subpixels?

Every pixel on your screen is not a single point of light. It is actually three smaller elements placed side by side — one red, one green, and one blue. These are called subpixels.

When all three subpixels glow at full intensity, you see a white pixel. When the red subpixel lights up alone, you see red. Why Subpixel Rendering Does Not Work Well on OLED
